Meet the Founders
Elad Kuperman
Co Founder, CEO Kuma Studios.Elad began his career in the TV industry 20 years ago as an independent producer at the acclaimed Kids Channel and at Israel’s “Fox Kids.” In 2002 he founded “Kuperman Productions,” serving as the leading producer and editor of Israel’s most popular and highly rated shows at the time: Emmy award winner “Ramzor,” “Dead for a Moment,” “Take me Sharon,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and more. In 2013, 51% of Kuperman Productions was acquired by Endemol – a global independent production & digital content company. During Elad’s time as the owner and lead producer at Endemol, he helmed popular drama’s and comedies such as “Harmon,” “Queens,” and the Emmy winning series, “Nebso.”
Shira Margalit
Co Founder, CEO Kuma Studios.Born in Tel Aviv and raised in Jerusalem, Shira worked for 20 years in the advertising industry, and served as CEO of McCann Tel-Aviv until 2007. She shifted her focus to television production, first as Senior Vice President for content at Reshet 13, where she launched the local version of “The Amazing Race” alongside original programs. Shira is also the Co-Founder of “Saloona”, the leading digital platform for women, affiliated with the Huffington Post. Shira also founded the INTV Conference for Keshet Media Group, where she worked for seven years. Shira received her BA in Film at the Open University in Tel Aviv.
Elinor Levi Harel
Head of ProductionElinor is a producer with over 20 years experience in Israeli television, with a focus on original dramas. Elinor worked her way up from production assistant and in the last 12 years has acted as lead producer on several hit series – such as “Miller’s Crossing”, (Keshet 12), “Metzulamim” (Hot Drama), “ALEF”, “Who Do You Think You Are?” (YES), Stockholm (KAN 11), “The Amazing Race” (Reshet 13), “North Star” (Disney) and many more. Elinor received her BA in Media and Management at the College of Management Academic Studies.
